I am liking these “checking in” type post – just giving little snippets of the things that are going on in our lives. Oftentimes I don’t have a large amount to say about one thing so this works out good for me. 
Some of the things going on around here right now:
I started using Homeschool Skedtrack. I was really nervous about it all being online but eventually got over it and tried it. It is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for – and it is FREE! I am so excited! I went through and entered all the work we’ve done so far plus some we haven’t done. And this morning there was the work needed to do with a few simple clicks. LOVE IT!
The main things I was looking for was something to move the work missed from one day to the next (so I wouldn’t have to re-write it all the time…not that any homeschoolers ever don’t finish any assignment, right? HA!). Something to log field trips and books read. This does those three plus many more. EXCITED!
The Lord has put before me in a VERY BIG way…the words of my mouth. (You can read more about that in my previous post New God Project: My Words.) I am currently reading SEVERAL books: UnGlued by Lisa Terkeurst, The Power of a Woman’s Words by Sharon Jaynes and The Proper Care & Feeding of Husbands by Dr. Laura. All three are VERY good.
I am still doing the Colossians study with Good Morning Girls and a secret Facebook group – greatly enjoying that!
A family member passed away so we have a guest flying in today and leaving after the funeral tomorrow. Will be nice to see him even if the circumstances aren’t the best (however the person who passed away was saved, so this is good).
“J” expects to get his driving permit this week – EXCITED!
