FOR TODAY:
Outside my window…the sun is rising, the birds and bugs are chirping.
I am thinking…I’m surprised I’m not more sore / tired from working in the garage almost all day yesterday.
I am thankful…for an amazing church family.
In the kitchen…bagels and cream cheese for breakfast and breakfast pork chops for supper.
I am wearing…jeans, a salmon colored t-shirt, no socks or shoes. (HA! Same thing as last week.)
I am creating…a cleaner house for J’s party. (I didn’t have a better answer…sorry…LOL)
I am wondering…what is up with the dog job I was supposed to have. I needed to change my start date and have yet to hear back from her. Weird, I think.
I am reading…The Coming Revolution by Dr. Richard G. Lee (review).
I am hoping praying…for everything associated with 9/11.
I am looking forward to…J’s 16th Birthday party Saturday – we have a little over 50 people coming…it’s going to be a blast, Lord willing.
I am learning…how to keep my mouth shut. (Only the Lord has such power!)
Around the house…straighten up the basement area, clean for the party.
I am pondering…the strange ways of my family.
A favorite quote for today…If I do not give a friend “The benefit of the doubt,” but put the worst construction instead of the best on what is said or done, then I know nothing of Calvary love. Amy Carmichael
A few plans for the rest of the week: today ~ finish putting stuff back in the garage (we cleaned it up / out so we would have a place to put everyone if it rains during the party Saturday), 4H meeting tonite; Wednesday ~ J guitar lesson & meeting; Thursday & Friday ~ work at the library; Friday ~ pick up cake / make cakes at home; Saturday ~ PARTY!; Sunday ~ meeting.
A peek into my day (yesterday)...see pictures below

I forgot to take a pic before we started…so took a pic of everything we took out:
Have a wonderfully blessed day!

Wow, that was quite a garage clean out! As for keeping your mouth shut…that’s a hard one, sigh.

Your garage project is inspiring! I need to do the same thing with our garage.
Wow, is all that going back in? This is something I intended to do in the Winter but never got around to doing so it is on my list for when its a little cooler out there, maybe 50-60 during the morning because I know I’ll get at least another 10 degrees warmer once I start.
Hope all goes well for the party.
