Well, first let me share my shock of this book only costing $6.99! I didn’t realize that until I started writing this post and man oh man! I’ve read books that weren’t nearly as good that easily cost twice as much if not more! WOW!
Ok, moving on…this book was INCREDIBLE! I read all 300-ish pages in 24 hours…when I read a book that fast, I know it is good…and not just “good” but REALLY REALLY GOOD! The writing flows easily and the book captures you immediately. From beginning to end I was intrigued with what would happen next! It has romance, suspense, gets you angry, makes you laugh…it has it all ~ and in a Christian manner. LOVE IT!
There was absolutely nothing inappropriate about this book. I loved every word from beginning to end and would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone! Basically it is about a woman, McKenzie, who becomes a mail-order bride in order to rescue her younger sister. McKenzie believes she is a Christian but through her marriage realizes there was so much she didn’t know about the Lord and the Bible. She also realizes what real love is and how it has nothing to do with material possessions (as she is from a family of great wealth). This is the first of three books of the Montana Skies Series – Chapter One of Book Two, Kaydie, is also included in this book.
