Today’s word is: RACE
GO
There are several things that come to mind with the word “RACE”. The first thing was – what race are you? I’m not sure why. It doesn’t matter as the Lord loves us all the same. I pray that the black population will not vote for our future president based strictly on race. I watched something recently, I forget what it was exactly, but it said he has taken a significant amount from his own people too.
The next thought was running a race and all that goes with it. Like running the race of the life of a Christian. It is not easy and the training is brutal. But we become stronger as we continue. Training is tough but pays off in the end. Fortunately the Lord “has our back” and will keep us moving in the right direction – if we are willing to follow His lead.
Third is the Presidential race. Ugh. I have my candidate picked but I am not overly excited about my choices nor am I happy with the debates. Neither have been glorifying to the Lord, in my opinion. But they are what they are and the Lord knows the plan and will be there with His believers through it all – no matter what.

Yes, ugh, the presidential race. May God have mercy. And may we, as His kids, be a light in a not very bright time. That’s all I can come up with as I think about it.
